With the Leisure and Tourism GCSE you can gain an insight into the leisure and tourism industry and get a GCSE that employers in lots of sectors will value and appreciate. Leisure and Tourism is the fastest growing industry in the world and employs people from different sectors such as hospitality, events, travel, aviation and much more. With a Leisure and Tourism GCSE you get a qualification that will enable you to work in one of the biggest industries in the world, possibly travel the world and even use your language skills in a work environment.

Travel and Tourism at KS4

There are 4 controlled assessments of between 1000 and 2000 words each. The topics for each one are about tourism in your chosen destination, planning an itinerary, investigating the range of jobs in the leisure or tourism industry and evaluating the gaps in provision in your local area.
