Dyson Engineer project
KS4 Design Technology students have been actively engaged in the Dyson Engineer project, enriching their understanding of a prominent designer featured in the GCSE curriculum through hands-on experience.
Equipped with an Engineering Box containing a Dyson V12 Detect Slim Animal™ Vacuum, Tangle-free Turbine Heads, and Anti-tangle screw heads, students explore the inner workings using provided screwdrivers to dissect and comprehend the underlying technology.
By gaining insights into Dyson's technology, students uncover the intricacies of the design process, paving the way for them to craft innovative solutions to everyday challenges. Moreover, they explore the diverse landscape of engineering professions firsthand, benefiting from insights shared by real Dyson engineers.
